Data deletion instructions

Effective date: September 26, 2026

MyWord is operated by Clingman LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company. You can ask us to delete information MyWord has stored about you or your business at any time.

How to request deletion

Email [email protected] with the subject “MyWord data deletion request”.
Include what we need to find the records: the MyWord sign-in email, the connected Facebook Page or Instagram account name, a public comment link, or the phone number you enrolled for texts.
Never send passwords or access tokens.

We review requests manually, may ask for reasonable proof of identity or authority, and confirm by email when deletion is complete, normally within 30 days. If the law requires us to keep a specific record (for example proof of an SMS opt-out), we will tell you what we kept and why.

Removing MyWord from Facebook or Instagram

Business owners can remove MyWord’s access at any time: in MyWord go to Integrations → Disconnect Meta entirely, or on Facebook open Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, select MyWord and choose Remove. Removing access stops future data access but does not erase what MyWord already stored, so email us as above to delete it.

What gets deleted

A request can cover account and workspace information, connected-account identifiers and access credentials, stored comments with author names and profile pictures, AI analysis, reply drafts, response requests, SMS contact records and activity history. Deleting data in MyWord does not delete the original Facebook or Instagram post, comment or message; use Meta’s own tools for those.

Text messages

To stop MyWord texts immediately, reply STOP to any message. To also delete your number and enrollment history, email us as above.
